this is just what I was looking for as a phone to be able to use Vodafone as that is the only network that I am able to use in Norfolk. The 2010G is easy to use the screen is a good size, radio very clear no crackling, the keys are larger than my other mobile so don't have to keep changing specs to use the 2010g. camera is good and easy to take "snaps" without a lot of fiddling with different buttons. The style "clam" is excellent as the buttons are not pressed while it is in my handbag.I did find the only problem is the small print on the start guide. I highly recommend this product.
Good features:easy to use, smart style
I recommend this product

Let’s get rid of the negatives first; alright the quick start guide paperwork the print is a little small, but there is a lot of information on what can only be four sides of A4. Having said that, I’m a male 65 year old and as we all know men don’t read instruction do we; so up until now I’ve not needed to read the small print, but the paperwork is there in a draw, should I ever meet a problem with my phone.
My choice of phone Alcatel 2019G was based purely on two things, first cost, and second it had to have a radio. My old phone which was ten years old did everything I needed so I didn’t see why I should spend too much money buying a half brick in size sort of phone with a thousand functions I will never use, when all I wanted was a phone with a radio included. The phone is very slim and lightweight it has a big screen and the camera on board is 2Meggapixels, so there should be something promising in a picture should I ever decide to use it. The keyboard it quite firm with little chance of inadvertently popping keys unintentionally. My phone has lived up to all my expectations, the radio selectivity is out of this world and to demonstrate its capabilities while was up on a hill at the 1000ft level I selected the station auto search and the phone came back with over thirty channels across the range.
The general operation of the main menu is easy and sensible even for me so the phone I think is well targeted at the sixty plus age group, who have little use for anything more complicated; and with the use of the favourite functions on display you are able to select which group of logos you want displayed on the front screen. As for the side bar volume control, some people have complained about its use, you can't please everybody, but I like it, and with skill I was able to adjust the volume of the radio while the phone is still in my pocket. Receiving calls while listening to the radio is a smooth transition and after the call, the phone reverts ok. I only have one complaint about the radio and that is if you are listening to a station with a weak signal, sometimes the scanner moves and to another station with a higher strength signal usually a BBC local station, so to get around this problem I deleted the station from the list of “found stations”. All in all I good purchase foe me.
Good features:very good value for money
I recommend this product

I loved this product when I viewed in my local store an ideal phone for my 81 year old mother who had damaged her old flip phone. Looked easy to use. There is one huge fault the side bar that shuts off volume to everything. You cannot disable it! Thus should you do anything like put in a handbag or pocket the phone becomes useless. I am surprised vodaphone allow it on their books. I have had to purchase a replacement motorola for her sim free. Don't buy this phone it's rubbish
Good features:looks great on paper
Bad features:does not work, side button renders your phone a paperweight, no customer service from manufacturer, website does not work properly
No, I do not recommend this product.

How can you give this three stars?

This is the worst phone I have come across! I am going back to analogue phones. The first flip phone from donkeys years ago was way better than this.

Do not buy this phone.
Ibought two in October my wifes stopped working over christmas.
The volume control on the side means that left in your pocket it can end up turned off. I have missed calls because of this.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Quick start guide impossible to read, so small.. Was the least intuitive of any phone ever bought (mainly Nokia). A disgrace that vodafone should recommend this to me - absolutely a truly awful thing - avoid like the plague
Good features:nothing at all
Bad features:the lot of it
No, I do not recommend this product.

Thoroughly dissapointed with this, I expected better performance to my old £15 Nokia.
The sounds are bad and listening to a caller is a problem outside of your house.
For £40 I feel I wasted my money.
Good features:none
Bad features:everything is bad
No, I do not recommend this product.

I thought I was purchasing an uncomplicated replacement for my 5 year old Nokia? Impossible to read or decipher the Quick Start Guide! It will be returned to the store asap.
