I think this phone was a awesome phone that had everything.But I don't like the pay monthly I prefer the pay as u go and hopefully everyone will agree so yeah.This phone is really good and I recommended to everyone.

i got this phone in september for my birthday, everything was fine and then a few months later it broke, it got fixed and everything it was running fine and then a second time it broke. This phone is easy to use though :)

"oh dear" what a let down, twice this phone has messed up since september , it was a waste of an upgrade and is currently driving me crazy , IT KEEPS SWITCHING OF , for no reason , so i would go for anothe rone and you would benefit from my advice and choose another one! i am appauled by the phone and wont be ever getting anot sony ericsson

my sony c510 was an xmas pressy and i am dissapointed that no cd comes with package and i cant download from sony website . found it not user friendly getting round the buttons compared to my old sony k800i

i love this phone its grate the camra is amazing and you can even have the step counter as the wallpaper and the screen is massive . i have had no problems with this phone.

Always had a Sony for years. Always been OK, good camera which I use a lot.
This one however will not zoom at all when set to 3, 2 meg, It only works on a poxy lower res setting.
Mine seems to have a poor speaker. On taking a call it sounds muffled and you struggle to hear.

Good screen, slim, good battery life offset by the above.
And I hope the keypad holds out as keys 2 and 3 are starting to stick.

Has a lot of features - but feels like they're done on a budget.
Camera takes forever to focus & take a shot unless you adjust settings to sport of infinity focus - but then what's the point of having smile detection.
Viewing photos is well presented. Have the option to tag photos (also option to auto geotag photos). Option to view photos as slide show with some background music.

Keys are a bit too small - which seems standard on Sony Ericsson. Can be annoying for SMS and games.
Battery life is good on GSM and average on 3G. Bluetooth has a power save option which is handy.
Is reluctant to turn on - but will if you hold the power key for long enough.

Plays MP3 and Audio Book (M4B) well. Comes with TrackID which can identify music though the microphone or built in radio.

Breaks a lot!!

When i first got my phone i never turned it off then when i did turn it off it didnt turn back on for about 30mins. it's a gd lookin phone but every time i turn it on the screen goes into 2!! dont no y? after a mounth of having it, it went really slow and when u press buttons it doesn't do what u want!!!!

I bought this phone about 3 months ago, and it worked perfectly up until about 2 weeks ago. The central select button and the #2 button fell off the phone completely while it was in my pocket, and now the phone simply doesn't work at all. The phone was acting very slow a few days prior to the breakdown, and then it just stopped working completely. The phone doesn't respond to any button pressed (except turning the phone on when it's switched off) and I have to remove the battery in order to turn it off.
I'm sure that this can be fixed and it might have just been that particular phone, but be cautious when buying this. Aside from the problems I had, this was a great phone. The camera quality is brilliant and the MP3 sound is clear, and the battery life isn't too bad either. Just a shame it doesn't work anymore!

This phone is very good at taking photographs especially up close and so I use it a lot for recording written information. It also refocuses each time you zoom in and so there is some internal processing going on which I was very surprised and pleased at.
I agree it does sometimes give the impression of not wanting to turn on if your in a hurry! but will eventually.

I changed to a Sony Ericsson C510 having always used Nokia .
When you turn this phone off and turn it back on , it does'nt want to switch back on .
The phone is slow , with an egg timer always showing everytime I press a button .
I wasted my free upgrade when I got this phone .
Will never have a Sony Ericsson phone again .
