this phone was very poor i got it as a present it was great for the first few weeks then it started to play up!! the red button doesnt work and it frezzes on the internet this phones design is poor because it is so thick

the LG viwty is a really gooood phone great value at £80 i have the LG viewty really good for me easy to use really good camera 5 mega pixel. the music is really loud and clear you have go features on it good applications you have a camera on the front of the phone what is rear u have so good lots more but wasting the page

The camera on the KU990i is great. It has as many features as a small handheld camera you would purchase in the £100 b price range. Flash, macro, movie and settings for various pictur modes inclduing landscape, portrait, night. The connection through the USNb portg to PC is very hairy, unrealiable and LG do seem to provide any support for the USB interface. Music sync has been a nightmare. The phone just lock up for no apprent reason and if the sync starts errors are consistent. Blue tooth seems a little random as well disconnection between devices is frequent again for no apparent reason.

Bad phone,don't buy!

The phone isn't good. The camera is rubbish and the phone screen keeps freezing. If I could choose again, I wouldn't choose this phone. It has a very bad battery life and only lasts one or two days depending on how much you use it. This phone is VERY terrible, it is not a good choice and I wouldn't recomend it to any one.

Absolutly love this phone ... looked around for ages, read every review possible .got totally confused, then took the plung and wow am i glad i did, I'm a bit of a technophobe who dosn't like to read instructions and this phone was great charged up turned on and off we went so intuative to use would recomended it to anyone!

I got this phone for Christmas, and these are my views.
Basic Features - Huge touchscreen, 3" - however style is quite boring, but I keep the blue stickers on to make it look cooler. Does not come with a stylus, but this is just as well as by using my Nintendo DS stylus it left little scratches. This is not so bad though as they can be rubbed off. Touch screen is pretty easy to use without a stylus anyway, once you get the hang of it. Cool scrolly thing on the back on the camera which can also be used to zoom the camera, so scrolling is easy and there are never too many finger prints streaked across the screen. Very light, but feels a bit like a brick in your pocket. I recommend a phone sock to minimise scratches and other damage to the screen.
Messaging - Easy to use. Input modes include Keypad, QWERTY Keyboard and Handwriting recognition. I use the Keyboard, as handwriting is kind of hard to do without a stylus.
There aren't any emoticons or inserts such as moving animations, sounds, etc. for messaging.
It comes with email, but as of yet I have not set this up.

Camera - Excellent. 5mp on back with flash, allowing to take super clear pictures, and a zoom jogwheel on the back of the phone (also used to scroll and change volume). Front camera is limited to VGA camera quality but is quite good nonetheless. You can take pictures in negative, black and white, sepia and suchlike. Photo editing can be done after taking a photo.
Video camera can be done and this took me a while to figure out how to do it, and this is that there is a button on the side where you change between camera, video camera and slideshow. Video editing can be done afterwards, except for the top 2 resolutions of video quality. I like how you can put them in slow motion :)

Sound quality - good, but its not very loud. With an internal memory of 90mb, you can have, say 20 songs of similar length. I have an 8gb memory card that stores up to 1000, but on the settings in 'Memory Manager', it always says the card is full when it isn't. Sound comes out of speaker at the back, which is next to the camera.
Tools/ advanced features - has calculator, calendar, organiser, world times and a converter. I would have liked a stop watch but it does not have one.
Games/ apps - comes with 3 demo games (blockbreaker, Bejeweled and Kasporav Chess) and a Google Maps application. No full games, but you can download these from VodafoneLive!.
Internet - super fast 3G Internet which means very fast browser. It takes longer to browse regular websites than mobile websites, and sometimes it cannot fit regular websites on the screen.
Ease of use - Fairly good, but it took me a while to figure out all the uses of the jogwheel and the camrea/video switch. Sometimes it asks you confusing things, but I won't go there because I'm no technical genious ;P
Battery Life - I must admit, this is a major downside. I use my LG Viewty quite a lot and I'd be lucky if my battery lasts 2 days. You have charge it everyday because there will be 2 bars out of four gone before the end of one day.
Would I recommend it? - yes, i probably would. It suits my needs quite well, but I expected more of it tbh.
My best phone? - No. My best phone was the one I had before, Sony Ericsson W580i. So easy to use, packed with features and just an all round 5 star excellent phone. Gave it to my brother, I should have made him pay ;D

Survivour Phone- Amazing!!

I have had this phone for about a year now, and recently i lost it in the snow. i had lost it for about 3 weeks and when the snow melted i went out to look for it, i eventually found it and turned it on. I was AMAZED it worked perfectly!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this phone.the touch screen on it is still amazing. And the camera is fabulous and editing you're photos is really easy. best phone ever!!

this is a sturdy phone and well made but when there is a lot of files i.e. photos , music , games, it becomes very slow, the camera is excellent with a rotation zoom around the lens, the touchscreen can be very annoying, when you want to scroll up or down something it will scroll then scroll in the opposite direction on its own, also it will select things you dont want to select, the internet is quite fast for a mobile phone as it uses a high speed conection or HSDPA High-Speed Downlink Packet Access overall a good phone but very annoying at times, ive had my veiwerty for around 4 months and some reveiws comment as an excellent phone but dont give time for use hope this helps

Touch screen very slow and not very responsive, took ages to load pictures and music, But a good camera. Did'nt connect to computer (needed extra software). Seemed to have a mind of its own! Wished I had'nt bothered getting it!

If you want a phone that will last, dont get this one. The touch screen doesnt work when its cold or your hands are cold and the calibration has a mind of its own. Its qiute a big phone as well and is annoying to carry around in your pcoket. The phone has some very good features but when you want it to do basic stuff it struggles. Lets just say i wont be getting one agian.

I was better with my old phone that kept crashing, there should be a cable that connects the phone to the computer so u can download photos and music, the battery is absolutly appauling I had to charge it up nearly every half hour a day, complete waste of money.DO NOT BUY!

Best phone i ever got

i got this phone, its really easyy to use but takes some time to get used to the touchscreen. the camera is reallly good and also it has flash witch i like! and when you textt it has a full QWERTY keyboard, but that takes some time to get the hang of. so overall this phone is amazing, and a perfect size to fit in the palm of your hand. so i say this is better than an LG cookie anyday, get it, you'll make a brilliant desision !!!!
