The Samsung Blade is great! Its only downside is that when looking at pictures and you might acsadentely tilt it to one side to get a better view of the picture is moves on to another picture scanning past lots of them you haven't seen. But overall this phone is great!!

Happy customer
Date: November 13, 2009
Being older I wasn't sure if I would cope with a touch screen but I have found the Blade easy to use.
Have managed to get on facebook and taken some really nice photos, even got them printed off .
Love the feel of this phone, but agree with previouse reviewer you do need a sock to protect your screen.

one big disappointment
Date: November 9, 2009
I saw this phone had good reviews and decided based on that to get it as my first touch phone. I really wish I hadn't. You can't use a stylus, yet several aspects are too small to touch accurately with a fingertip. You can't adjust the sensitivity of the screen, and need sweaty fingers to operate it effectively. The zoom on the camera only works in panorama setting or to view photos already taken, which is not specified anywhere before you discover for yourself. The handbook is very little use for anything except such self-evident tasks that a guide isn't really needed. Most telling of all is that it is very difficult to find accessories for this phone, which suggests it is already obsolete. Not a wise choice!!

Not a bad phone
Date: November 9, 2009
I have had this phone for about a week now it has taken me that long to get used to it. Might have helped if I had read the instructions. Making calls that you also need the key pad can be fustrating at times but apart from that noty a bad phone and I am normaly a Nokia fan.

Nice overall phone
Date: November 9, 2009
This is the first touch screen phone I have ever had so I cannot compare it to any others on the market. However, having compared the likes of Nokia 5800 for style it wins hands down.
After using it for about 2 months now I do find that there can be a slight lag from selecting something on screen to the phone then performing that particular task. This did cause problems at the start but when you get used to this then you tend to wait a second before tapping the screen again.
It has a lot of nice built in features that are not in the very basic instruction manual supplied but after playing about with the phone these come to light.
The microphone is of exceptional quality as I am always being told not to shout at people down the phone!!!
The games supplied are only demo games and so there is an extra cost to download the full version but I am one who believes that if you want to play games then buy a console.
The picture viewer is nice but as mentioned in another review can be more like a very speedy slide show that is hard to control.
In my opinion if you want a very stylish touch screen phone that is easy to use then this fits the bill. Do remember to buy a phone sock or case to keep the screen protected though.

Can't get to grips with this phone at all. It doesn't have a good memory and browing your photos is good if you want to wizz through them but not if you want to look at the slowly

Lightweight & Easy to use
Date: October 25, 2009
Having attempted to use my husbands Nokia N97 and got really confused, I found the blade really easy to use and unlike other phones, lightweight and fits in the palm easily.
I'm still trying to find some good apps, ie, you can currently bookmark facebook in your web settings but there is not an app (that I have found) that keeps you logged in and automatically updates you.
What's even more of a plus is that this phone can be got on a price plan that doesn't break the bank.
