I bought an NC10 with Vodafone in September 2009. It's tiny but robust and very capable, and the raving reviews on the internet are not wrong. The NC10 has a great keyboard, and it's screen is not glossy, so you can use it anywhere. Colour depth is fantastic, sound (through headphones) is excellent, and it's got no problem handling just about any task. It stops short of video editing perhaps, but I've had no problem playing Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. Get free Wi-Fi at your local deli, on the train etc. You'll find room for this beauty easily, and life gets a little easier when you can play, work or read up whenever you like. Better than a smartphone, which decides when you should read your mail, this netbook quite easily goes offline!
However, you should be aware that the Vodafone version is different from the standard model. It has an inbuilt 3G modem (no dongle required, brilliant) and a SIM card slot. Bluetooth is not an option. Also, the standard 6 cell battery gives 7 hours of play on this netbook, but Vodafone deliver it with a 3 cell battery out of which I can squeeze 2.5 hours maximum. Also, there is no cd/dvd drive with it, though it could be argued that's beneficial.
It's easily upgraded with a N110 6 cell battery purchased separately, lasting some 11 hours. Also it's 1 Gb of RAM which is more than adequate on XP. Upgrade only if you want to install Windows 7. Its built-in SD card slot allows for massive portable storage (I'm using an 8Gb SD card for all programs, running dvd's and cd's as ISO files off it too!). The 3 USB ports and serial port allow for further upgradeability by attaching an external mouse, keyboard and display.
