Overall Good Robust phone
Date: November 5, 2009
I've had this phone for a year and its not broken yet - something of a record for me. Its made out of metal which is very reassuring to hold. The keypad, with qwerty keys, makes for very quick texting and it works nicely as a phone.
The GPS is a bit hit or miss - not as good as the satnav, but I have used it as a satnav around UK very effectively.
There are lots of installations available through NOKIA OVI that all seem to work well.
The camera and video work very well - I use this phone as my sole camera nad have done several work info-vids using the video.
It uses a non-standard mini-USB cable, which is a stupid design flaw, but not a big problem.
I've not used a bluetooth device with it, so can't vouch for its efficacy here.
I didn't want a Blackberry (I use Hotmail, so can't port to Blackberry). The vodafone system works well with Email and the internet and I have had no problems here.
I have used it several times abroad as a modem for the laptop; works very quickly.
OVERALL this is a strong, efficient device. Could do with being a little smaller overall but with slightly larger screen, but that would reduce the keypad... It works just fine and I shall upgrade to an E72 when it comes out.

If I knew then, what I know now, I would not Entertain this phone.
Very stylish, easy to use, great resourses, but the overall operation lets it down.

Love this phone and hate this phone!
Date: October 16, 2009
It is really easy to use, looks good and has a lot of features similar to that of a Blackberry. However, it crashes a lot. IT'l shut down the internet when I'm using it, will close down applications while they're stil in use. It's very slow at times and even with a signal sometimes I have to switch my phone off then on to get txt messages! Atm I cant tell whos txting me because the names won't show just the numbers. I do love this phone but wish it didn't have soooo many faults!!

Nice phone for business and home
Date: October 14, 2009
I have been a Nokia fan for years and have had the Nokia E71 for about 12 months. I love the phone as it is good for business use (email, agenda, things to do etc.) as well as excellent for personal use (camera, sounds, video). I thought it had a decent camera until I saw the images from my wife’s N97. The thing that swung it for me and I haven’t seen anything better yet, is the keyboard. Nice size for my big fingers on what is a slim “shirt pocket” size phone.
I also like the apps that come from Vodafone for sat nav, getting mail from my company mail system, and to browse the internet. Nice phone and will look for something in the family when something better comes along.
