I got this phone as I fancied a new touchscreen on, since that's what all the cool folks round town have. The Vodafone man I spoke to said give it a good try, as touchscreens take a while to get used to. He was right! I did give it a shot, but I found some features just so poor that I had no choice but to swap it for a normal button phone.
For me a phone is for texting and calling, but even with my tiny lady fingers I was unable to comepose and send a text quickly. It was also very hard to call anyone, the menu systems seem very complicated or duplicated in several places, and just phoning somone took a heap of fuss. It was also extremely annoying that often when trying to scroll down a page I would select something instead, no matter how lightly or heavily I pressed.
I found the performance to be fine, not lightning fast but not too slow either. there are many programs to use, including Office software, but i'm not sure how frustrating that would be to use on a phone.
On the plus side, it is a great looking phone, with 3G and Wifi, so data and internet access was quick. It has a nice big screen, lots of data storage and it comes with a useful stylus so if you don't mind using it for every function, you might like it.
