Other phones speed just doesn't compare
Date: December 18, 2009
I have the HTC HD 2 but not for long, its' speed is slow for quick fingers and the 3G is permanently switched on so drains the battery, when you turn the screen is takes quite a while to react. I have tried lots of different models over the years but the iphone is streets ahead.

its not perfect !
Date: December 17, 2009
well it is a good phone apart from a few things if you are used to a nokia or blackberry you will find things you could do with these phones you can not with this. ie you can not keep it tidy by making your own folders to put apps in dedicated place as u can with nokia the ringtone issue of your ring tones are only 45 sec long thats it no to putting your own msg alert the camerer is not V good at all and the video is terible like a web cam but on the also the reception can be poor compared to other phones have seen with my own eyes i have no reception every one on same networks has but this is in poor reception areas but on the + side the touch screen is by far better than any other phone out i have tried nokia and samsung alike the menu system is smooth and easy to navigate + you also get iPod quality sound when music is played. the app store has many good apps you will wonder how you lived without ! to sum up if your have allways had a nokia or samsung phone the change to a iPhone may be a little to much for when you realise the things you can no longer do but if you stick with it there is a good phone and iPod at the end of it

Awful - returned it within 3 days
Date: December 15, 2009
Many nokias and samsungs (esp 360 H1 samsung phones) are very high contenders for the iphone 3g and 3gs.
I had the 3GS and returned it after three days because it kept crashing and the battery life is awful.
I've now changed and gotten the nokia 5800 and i love it. Less per month and still the same great internet browsing and apps! Couldnt fault the 5800 in any way as its a gd camera, great music player and very nice style as well.

Excellent All-rounder!
Date: December 13, 2009
I cant understand where all the bad ratings are coming from!
This is by far the best "gadget", not just phone, I have ever had!
It's easy to use, and so responsive for a touch screen! it's usage is endless both in a pracrical and fun way.
I must say I have yet to experience any problems with such said "reception failure", and the 3G network is very reliable.
Like I say its a great all round phone, with the apps it can be suited to anything and anyone.
Highly Recommended!

if your iphone crashes...
Date: December 10, 2009
if your iphone crashes then it is either the particular app you are using (some are quite buggy) or there is something wrong with your phone. Take it back!
This phone is so easy to use, my mum can use one. There is nothing more to be said.

I Crash
Date: December 8, 2009
Well I was really excited to get my hands on the I-phone, yet when ever you try to load applications which is why I had it, it crashes. As a business user I am really disappointed and wish I had choose the new Blackberry Bold instead.

OUT ON ITS OWN
Date: December 3, 2009
I have a 3G iPhone from Vodafone Italy which I've been using on the Vodafone UK network ever since the phone was launched. The phone is absolutely outstanding in every respect. I have the mail on both my email accounts pushed to the phone, MMS,surf the web and have just installed my latest app, Tom Tom sat nav ( with the in car kit ) which is excellent and also gives me hands free calling. The phone is an absolute joy to use. The Apple menus are so intuitive and logical, simplicity itself. I have seven accounts with Vodafone and have had many handsets over the years, but nothing even comes close. If I have one tiny criticism, it's that the battery life could be better.

Where are these people getting their iphones from?
Date: December 3, 2009
How come lots of UK reviewers are saying they have iphones from vodafone when it is not due for launch until Jan 2010? If there's a way to get them on Voda UK, then I'd love to know how as Voda UK tell me not yet. iPhone rocks (played with a few O2 ones) but battery life could be better, and I'd like haptic feedback. My Nokia 5800 will be replaced with a voda iphone the second they launch.

I have a disability that effects my hand movements so I can't use regular phone with all the buttons. the iphone is perfect, the user interface is am amazingly easy to use and the features are terribly good. Just a shame the bluetooth won't share files with other mobile platforms.

Over rated & Over priced IPhone
Date: November 29, 2009
this handset is just a fashion accessory and performance wise yh its got a good mp3 player and may look good however the battery life is dismal the phone crashes when you have "apps" open and over heats which on a tariff of £40+ over 24 months on any of the networks for the iphone is a joke tbh i would highly recommend a contender which would be the 5800 CJG x

iphone 3gs is great ^_^
Date: November 27, 2009
i've used many types of phone and i found that this is the best ever.even though the battery is not last for a long time usage,it is undeniable that this iphone is tempting with many features.i guess it is the best choice for whom loves to play games n watch television. just in case you are a person who loves to take pictures, i think you should think on buying it.not like other phone that has 2 cameras, it has only 1.i find it is hard to take my own picture. iphone 3gs is a little bit thicker than the iphone.but anyways,it is worth buying.maybe the next generation will be better with 2 cameras like nokia n70.who knows?

GREAT PHONE
Date: November 27, 2009
I have long been a fan of Nokia N95 8GB and various N-SERIES phones. But I love to browse the internet, and the web browsing experience on the iPhone blows everything else out of the water.
It is so simple to use, I have owned many PocketPCs and installing applications were so complicated. But with the iPhone you can click on the app store and download loads of free applications and games. Also the iPhones supports international keyboards, it lets you change the keyboard to Japanese, Chinese or Arabic (very userful to me because I study Japanese and Arabic :)).
It has a massive 8GB built in memory and the battery life is amazing compared to my N95 8GB. I have played my MP3 player on my iPhone from the start of uni and left it running till the end of the end and it still had half the battery left... unbelievable.
I love going online, just a few taps and I'm on my GMAIL account and my other Uni account (Microsoft Exchange Server). Even though the phone doesn't support picture messaging... I just send a higher quality version of the picture by email instead. And since the web browsing is free, I dont get charged anything for it. How cool is that?.
I have converted three full movies and I still have 2 GB left on my phone. iTunes lets me import my existing collection of music from CD to the iPhone and it automatically makes a backup of my contacts... no messing about with Nokia PC Suite. Also when I connect my iPhone to any pc, it automatically starts recharging.
Now that I have this phone... I can't imagine any other phone that can do the same. I have tried the new samsung touch screen phones and lg pixon.... but the web browsing is very slow and takes ages to react.
iPhone is the best phone on the market at the moment if you are into music, video playback and web browsing. If you need it for high quality images... buy a digital camera!!!.
