The style is clean, simple and excellent. In a word: Elegant! There are no corners to snag.
The touchscreen works very well indeed. A little fiddly on the texting until used to it (in a day or two) but there is a handy, detachable stylus if you want to use it instead.
Love the screen size and shape too. Great internet connecting as well.
At first I missed not having instant access to my text messages, at the touch of one button-as with my previous Motorola V3-but soon got used to the easy to reach text section anyway.
The built in camera does deliver good sharp results too.
I would say to anyone who thinks it is a bit fiddly at first. It is worth staying the course and after a day or two of using it, it all comes together very nicely. You will then have a really nice phone which does the job, and it is also at a really great value price too!
It took a day and a bit to 'grow' on me, but I am very glad I did and I would happily recommend it.

but you have to buy a memory card

This phone is the best one i have ever purchased! Easy to use, looks very stylish and has alot of great features! i would reccomend this phone to everyone i know and i am even considering buying my parents one each!

this phone is wicked and i would recommend to everyone. it is simple to navigate around, stylish design and a a astonishly great price. the touch screen is just brill and loads of people think it was way more expensive than it actually was it is fab thanx alot vodaphone

if your looking for a cheap phone that works, and looks nice, then this is it, it does everything you want, its not exactly an iphone, but look at the price! i love mine, and you get used to texting after a day or two. very nifty and small, and looks great, interface is simple and user friendly, after a few days of use, you can become very quick at navigating the menus. Overall, fantastic phone, well done vodafone.

I have got to say that this phone is my 3rd and by far the best simply because of ease of use, and the way vodafone let you know all the time when its on its way, is fantastic.
People, please get this phone because it will last you for a good couple of years. Plus the price is great,

Took me a while to find it had a stylus as it didn't say anything in the instructions or the box but not much easier to text and even Hubby now has 1 as he can use stylus instead of his fat fingers. His is black, mine is cherry red which I think was a special edition.
Would buy this phone over and over, I love it! Was gonna get an iphone but not now! I can do all I need on this excellent, low priced, gorgeously tactile phone.

Ok, so it's a touchscreen. Ok so it's cheap. But really you get what you pay for. Best thing about this fone is the radio. Nice display. But ... and there's a few buts. Even with the stylus, sending a txt correctly is slow and difficult. Searching contacts is slow and difficult. When a txt msg comes in the fone is not intuitive. You have to press about 5 buttons to view a msg just in. That is dumb.Also the display colours and interface are cheapy. I felt like i was using very old technology even though it's kinda new. This fone will frustrate you and you will end up buying another better one. SO save your money and buy a more stylish, more functional one. Oh ... and it'll make calls of it;s own accord in your pocket. I hope some designers read this review and address all these points. Maybe the next version will be better. But this fone despite all its value will wreck your head.

i just want to say well done to vodafone for making a great phone which has everything you could possibly need. Stylus, calender, touch screen. The only thing i will mention is the memory is rubbish, no stopwatch and the games are just demos but that does not matter.
If you are out lookin for a phone definetly go to vodafone and buy the 'Vodafone Touch 541'

When i got this phone i was really chuffed at how good it was for the money, I was happy that it did what i wanted it to do and that it had quite a good and precise touch screen. Even without the stylus

Sorry to say but i am very dissapointed with this phone. okay its cheap but it is slow, autonomy is NOT GOOD AT ALL and appart being touchscreen this phone just do nearly nothing you would expect from a touch screen phone. Its like having a BMW with a mopet engine !. no really i would avoid this phone..

if you get it in red it looks ammense.
camera is decent.
VERY easy to use.
