Had the phone a couple of months now, not my first blackberry so I knew a little about them. This phone is very good has a few small problems but nothing major, I would say if you are looking to use this for business you would probably be better off with a full qwerty keyboard. All in all its a good stylish phone with good features, really like the Vodafone gps navigation software and the app store. 8/10

I have to say that this is my first blackberry phone, and i'm absolutely in love with this phone. Yes it's a little tricky to use, but with every new phone it takes time to adjust.

STORM 2 well where do i start ... worst phone i ever owned .. been back several times for repair .. software upgrade all the time never sorted problem .. had a storm 1 that was bad thought storm2 would be better .. but worse . give vodafone there due there swapping for me .. STORM 2 think log and hard before getting 1

don't ever think of buying this storm 2. I bought this phone and have to go back to the retailer vodafone shop for 4 times and change 3 times for the same new phone and apparently it gives the same problem cutting off line during calls in just 30 sec. especially when you go on internet surfing. Its really worst phone I've being using.

GREAT PHONE, MINOR PROBLEMS

Overall this is an excellent phone.It looks amazing and professional, and has a lovely feel to it. The keyboard is hard to get used to, but eventually you become really fast at typing. The problems im having with mine is the back is loose and does my head in, when i turn the phone to use it in landscape the screen crashes and is unresponsive, sometimes the lock doesnt work or stays locked when i unlock it.
Great phone, but i will be getting a blackberry with a button keyboard next time, or an iPhone.

This is my 4th Blackberry device and I am extraordinarily disappointed with the Storm. It keeps locking, responsiveness is slow, typing is a nightmare, under no circumstances get this product!

ive had this phone a while now and its the first ever top end contract phone ive had so i thought id best get it insured because im always either braking or losing my phone... this phone has been submerged in water for atleast 20 seconds and utterly bashed about getting dropped down flights of stairs etc and not once has my insurence came into play! the phone is an utter rock yeah the back has a few scratches from the drops and one of the pixals has went on the screen, but that is NOTHING when you consider what its been through.
practical and very easy to use the touch screen which you have to press in gives you the best of both worlds the only reason people get an iphone is because they cant afford a phone plus buy an ipod. a phone is for contacting people and what phone does that better than a blackberry????

Fantastic phone

I spent months reviewing all Blackberry phones, this one kept leaping off the page at me. Got it finally in December and I wouldn't use anything else. If your techno minded and use computers regularly it will be a doddle to use. Great looking phone, battery life is not the best on the market but it has caused me no problems. Quick for internet searches and some good apps available, although not all are suitable for the Storm 2. Persevere, you will not look back.

worst purchase ever.

i got this phone thinking yea this would be ok, but it less than 2 months i have had to change the phone. the keep giving me replacement phones and the all do the same, either battery doesnt last long or the keypad goes so you cant use it. i have had my 3rd replacement less than 24 hours i cannt send a msg or anything as the keypad will not work on this. do not buy i would not reccomend to any one.

I have had 2 of these phones now and have had problems with both!! The touch screen keeps locking making it imposible to answer or make calls!!!
I am very disapointed with this phone as it is the first blackberry I have had and was looking forward to it.
If the touch screen work this would be a fantastic phone but unfornatly it is literally useless!!

I have my new phone about a week now....and I just cant put it down... Absolutely love it.. I was worried about the touch screen as i have quite large fingers for a girl. But not a problem... I dont know why people dont like the fact that the screen has a click...its just like using a normal keyboard...only BETTER.. The e-mail is super fast... Txt messaging easy... and I'm a facebook fan and its just brilliant for that.. Its fast on the internet...wifi or 3G. Totally sexy.. yet a very practical phone for business. Only downside is that my husband has become very grumpy about the fact that I never have it out of my hand....!!! BUY IT.....You'll love it....!!

I've just got the re vamped version of Storm 2 and love it. It is use for business, but feels fun as well as professional. I like the the iphone but love the Blackberry. The browser could be better but thats it.

Really fed up with this phone. It works but only just!
Writing emails or texts can drive you mad - the touch screen is not accurate and one is forever typing unwanted letters. Overall the touch screen is not responsive enough.
The buttons on the side are constantly activating the camera or voice command feature - very annoying! Lots of other negative points but ...
I would only use this phone to recieve and read emails

Storm 2 - my first blackberry

Was looking for a new phone, my colleague wouldnt put her Blackberry down. She loved it so I had a look.
Vodafone looked after me with a Storm 2, a totally touch screen phone.
Overall, its a very good phone. Well designed and extremely easy to use.
Couple of issues with performance though, for some reason all my calendar items went missing overnight. A memory problem apparently so new handset on its way. Same happened with email messages but they were still on my yahoo server.
Would I recommend this phone? YES I would.
Would I have another? YES I would.
Would I have another? YES I would.
I always thought I wouldnt have a Blackberry, now I am not sure I will ever have anything else.

Both my husband and I upgraded to this phone had it a day and have sent them both back. Screen unresponsive and freezing, don't get this phone!!!!!!!!!!

As with most smart phones you need to have patience and get to know the phone. Once you have done this you can really appreciate the benefits of this great device. Keep a look out for wireless upgrades, a great way to keep the device up to spec with enhancements. There are a lot of negative comments about the battery life, I have not experienced this and have purchased one of the docking stations for night time which ensure the device is always fully charged.
