A friend got one of the first HTC HD2's to be delivered and kindly lent it to me for a few hours. This is the ideal business tool for me as a Equity and Commodity trader. I quickly connected with all my normal web based sites and found the screen plenty big enough to track streaming level 2 quotes and other financial data. It also connected with my E-Mail and seems to synchronize easily with my other computer based programmes from Microsoft.
It is true there are not the huge choices of Apps as per the iphone but there are a lot of very useful Apps out there which are easy enough to find. The prospect of the Windows 7 upgrade will only make this handset better and will probably arrive at the same time as the 4th generation iphone.
If you are a business user, then the HTC HD2 is the clear number 1 choice and for those who want to simply use the phone as a fun tool, the ability to use Flash is really useful and to be honest,
I actually preferred this phone to the iphone, including the really excellent camera (I think that the negative comments about this are not representative as I had consistently good pictures from both inside and out.)
I should mention two other excellent advantages. The first is that it takes sd micro cards (the one I tried had a 16gb which had a lot of music stored on it) and the other advantage is that you can carry a spare battery (try this on an iphone) which again is a useful plus for a business user.
So, I have ordered my phone from Vodafone who seem to have a really great deal on at the moment, giving you free handset, masses of minutes talktime, unlimited texts and web connection for £35.00pm
