P20 PRO is an outstanding phone.
The build quality is superb and fits really nicely in the hand. Its supplied with a clear rubber case to stop scuffs.
The screen is excellent even in bright light and the battery life is better by quite some margin than any phone i have ever had.
The camera(s) are easy to use and the results are fantastic with lots of opportunity to tweak settings etc to tailor things to your personal taste.
The software is great with no annoying bloatware using up space and its so easy to use.
All Smartphone reviews always seem to concentrate on the screen, camera, battery & processor speed but forget sound quality on calls. this phone is superb. clear calls, Dolby atmos for music and great headphones supplied.
Try one, you might be surprised. i love it

I received this product as part of a review program in return for an unbiased review. Upon unboxing the Huawei P20 Pro you instantly realise that you are dealing with a quality product. I received the Black version which is pretty good at withstanding fingerprint smudges on the back, but being a glass phone some fingerprints are inevitable. To help alleviate this, Huawei has very generously included a clear case in the box and a pre-applied screen protector. When you actually study the phone closely, you begin to appreciate how well made and stylish it is, and upon picking it up you feel that it has a pleasing amount of weight to make it feel quality without being too heavy. It's when you switch the phone on that you are in for a real treat though, the 6.1" Full HD AMOLED screen is a real beauty, very punchy and you can adjust colour settings to suit your taste. Talking of customising, I've never known a phone that has so many options to personalise and change how the phone looks and performs. I spent a good few hours just navigating the settings menu and setting the phone up to exactly how I like it. The phone runs on Android 8 and has a custom Huawei skin called EMUI, this skin is where the vast majority of the customisation options come from. Some people will love the skin, others will hate it. Another point that will divide opinion is how many apps Huawei pre-installs on the phone. A lot of the Huawei apps are effectively duplicates of the Google apps and can't be uninstalled or disabled as far as I can see, which is frustrating. Now I will talk about arguably this phone's main feature, the Cameras. It has 3 lenses on the back. A telephoto lens (for zoom), a Monochrome lens (for Black and White) and a main 40MP lens. It uses AI to determine the scene you are shooting and adjusts the camera settings accordingly, the results of this are fantastic photos every time. You can turn the AI mode off if you desire to get more 'natural' looking photos, and there is a plethora of different camera modes that you can play with. It really is a game changer for mobile photography and I've attached a few sample shots to give an idea of how stunning the photos look. Finally a worthy mention is for the battery life of this phone. It has a 4000 Mah battery which is one of the biggest batteries available in a flagship phone, pair this with the efficient Kirin 970 processor and you have a phone which easily lasts a full day, and has very fast charging to top it up again.

I received this product as part of a review program in return for an unbiased review.
So, having had devices from the major android manufacturers for a number of years, moving to Huawei was always going to be a bit of a leap into the unknown. On paper, the device looks and sounds fantastic, however, I was still sceptical. Nonetheless, I've now had the device for a number of weeks and through some extensive use feel I can provide a pretty comprehensive verdict.
Overall, I have been immensely impressed, the quality of the device, the power of the camera and the stamina of the battery are all stand out features.
For me the most positive elements of the device are (in no particular order): - Screen quality (I'd certainly argue that it's as good as the competitors) - Battery (I reckon 2 days of use should be achievable with moderate use) - Camera (Without a doubt the best camera I've ever used on a phone, the results are spectacular, particularly using Night Mode) - Build quality (It might look fragile, but it's holding up very well, despite heavy use - although a case is necessary, like all other flagships these days).
Some of the areas where I feel the device could improve (again, in no particular order): - I didn't think I'd miss wireless charging too much, but, I do - The software isn't quite as polished as other OEM's - either stick with stock android or put the time and effort into making the software seamless - Some particular software quirks, in particular, issues with Android Auto displaying weirdly, no Google Play Music sound through Android Auto, limited Always Display capability, difficulties with Nova Launcher and Widgets, challenges with Google Assistant and Google Pay, etc. - Bloatware - not too much of it, but still more than I had expected (and I'm not sure if much of it is too useful!)
Ultimately, it's so easy to see why this device is so highly regarded in the media - it's a really solid effort and I really believe it could convince people to move away from the more established manufacturers. Whilst there are areas for improvement, these are minor and can quite easily be rectified through software updates.
I would definitely recommend this product.

I love this phone the best thing for me is picture quality amazing. The only thing I dont like personally is everything works the opposite from my Samsung phones. When I go to answer my phone I need to swipe the opposite way. Twice i have hung up on people cause i swiped it wrong way. What made it worse as 1 of the calls was from my boss when I accidentally hung up lol. Still there are always things different from everything else. As I say I am very happy and battery life is so much better than Samsung phones I only need to charge my phone every 2-3 days and my phone is on all day and night. The phone charges very quick it is very good. You also get a free screen protector and case which you never get with Samsung. Great signals with vodafone too perfect.
