Orderd sat evening arrived tue. So far using the laptop for 1 day it seems great. Obviously its not the most powerful laptop in the world but the 2.1Ghz processor combined with the 2Gb ram will be more than enough for the average user. Basically I use my laptops for web browsing, music and handyness. For heavy use Photoshop, DVD burning, Gaming etc I us my PC as its a more powerfull machine, however thats not to say the compaq wont do these things (cos it will, maybe just a tad slower)
for £35 a month it cant be faulted, I have saw the same one on ebay for £419 so if you do the math your getting 2 years broadband for 840 - 419 = £421, personal I think this a great deal for MOBILE broadband.
The broadband itself is excellent, With Vodafone No matter where I am I always get a cracking HSDPA signal, which prompted me to get the mobile broadband. with downspeeds of 7.2meg (twice what o2 & 3 offer) Its a no brainer really.
The only gripe I have is that windowss vista and not 7 is installed so I have to install a new operating sys on a new laptop (Maybe this is why were getting such a good laptop for so little money)
Defiantly recommend for light/medium personal/ office use
