If you're used to Samsung handsets then this won't disappoint. If not, it's still pretty straight forward to use, with a 'help' widget installed on display. I recently upgraded to the Wave after having a Samsung Tocco on contract. At first I was a bit nervous at the lack of manual keypad, as the phone is fully touchscreen, but after a week I was hooked! Onscreen QWERTY keypad is really responsive, and amoled screen amazing for videos, images, and games. Great phone, would recommend it to anyone!

I have had my phone for 18 months and it's the best phone I have ever owned, easy to use, battery last for ages and great design.....def would recommend it......

i have recently had this phone stolen from me and i miss it terribly, the camera is great and almost all of the applications worked extremely well. it is simple to understand ane easy to use everyday. i loved it.

The phone is designed nicely, but it isn't actually that good. I found the keyboard hard to use and frustrating. The memory filled up very fast and it made me delete my stuff... As well as that the battery would go from full to nothing in a day with not much use. Finally it is very easy to crack/break. I just have and I'm quite glad,
Pros: slim and looks good
Cons: bad memory., bad battery, not easy to use, breakable

got this phone just over a month ago and i love it, was bit apprehensive at first but after couple of hours i knew what i was doing. qwerty keyboard easy to use,and phone takes great pics. battery lasts for ages, i only put on charge once a week

I am not very happy with this phone i would not recommend to friends as ive had nothing but troble with the phone since i got the phone i feel this is a bad phone

i have had this phone since christmas, on a great contract.. and this phone has not failed to dissapoint me!
My friend has the iphone 4 and I used to be sooooo jelous of him when I had a samsung tocco lite ( which is actually an okay phone ) but now I have the Wave I am always comparing it to the Iphone and I think the Wave is easier to use!
The downside is, that i am a great 'Facebooker' but the app is rather bad - no FB chat, Notifications, and it doesnt come up with wallconversations.
But all in all, it is absolutely amazing, I have about 300 photos and 220 songs (but some on Memory Card) and alll of thosecan easily be held.
A GREAT PHONE! GET IT INSTEAD OF AN IPHONE :P

great phone, not complicated at all, good reception. my friend has an iphone and we compared, the colours were so much more vivid and the phone more user friendly. I love this phone, only thing is I would like better apps

was petrefied of touch screen phones, had a samsung G600 for 3yrs. got a samsung wave for crimbo. 56yr old bad eyes, left it in box till jan 15th.{fear} wot a fantastic phone. come on all you old lads get uo graded, its simple to use. will never go back to buton phones.

Originally I was swaying towards an iphone, but I have had this phone for about a week, and I love it. It has all the features I want and more. I would recommend this phone to anyone. :-)

Now back when the I Phone 4 was released i went out and bought one instantly, then i got the old no signal business, i had the choice to have that silly rubber bumper thing or send it back, i opted for the latter. The shop in the mean time gave me a Samsung wave. i was very impressed with it and found it hard to hand it back to retrieve my Iphone. After using the i phone 4 for a couple of weeks i coundnt see why i was paying so much for something that was inferior to the wave. I cancelled my contract (luckilly costing me next to nothing) and got the wave on pay as you go. best decision i have made in a while. In the months i have had the phone i have had no problems with it. it is powerfull, robust and impossible to fault aslong as you do updates.

I was unfortunately handed this phone as a temporary replacement for my smartphone by another make which needed a repair. Sadly I have to say, this phone is a major disappointment. The basic e-mail, text and set-up software is awkward. The keyboard clumsy. The Internet functionality non-existent. The picture quality was very good, however, so the phone will be ideal for games and videos.

The Wave is one of the smartest phones I have come across. The options, choices and customisations are endless. The phone has Facebook, Twitter, You Tube and Instant Messenger pre-installed, and although the choice of apps is still limited in comparison to others, they are growing by the day.
I like using this phone for email, and it does the job very well. If you enjoy playing games, there is quite a good range of choices now, from simple games like Hangman to racing games like Need For Speed, and the graphics are awesome. The Camera (see attached image), which has a dozen settings and an editing facility, and the HD video recorder are phenomenal, and once you have purchased an additional memory card, the phone can store a lot. I also enjoy using the phone as an MP3 player, and music sounds great via earphones or speakers. There is even a radio built in. I use the Internet quite a lot, and the phone seems to cope with general surfing with ease. The phone also has a built-in satnav, but further software downloads are required in order for this function to work. But there are other useful apps that you can use with the phone’s built in GPRS system, or you can use Google Maps to locate your position.
However, on the downside, although the phone has BBC iPlayer built into it, you can only watch TV when connected to WIFI. Although I used to be able to use BBC iPlayer via the 3G network in the early days, this is no longer possible, and Vodafone do not make this clear on their website.
The battery life is very good, until you connect to WIFI, or use the camera / video recorder for a prelonged period of time. Also, the phone allows you to alter the brightness of the screen, and even on the dimmest setting, the screen is clear and crisp, and the colours very vibrant.
Still, all in all, I love the phone, and I can live without the use of mobile TV. This phone comes packed with goodies, and I keep my fingers crossed that no other features cease working in the future….

Upgraded phone from Nokia Navigtor. Great phone from Samsung. Alert tones for messages set by Samsung. Come on Samsung let your customers download their own alert tones, as yours is dismal to say the least. Text keypad very small, easy to press wrong letter or number. Update these items and you have a brilliant and easy to use mobile phone

When I first got this phone, it was very good and is easy to use. I had no problems at all. But now, 3 weeks later, It constantly freezes, sometimes up to twenty minutes, my 'facebook' application opens and then shuts down withi three seconds and the internet is 'never supported' so I can't go on that either... I have a password on certain parts of my phone that choses when it wants to work.. generally, performance is very poor. However, I do like the style and when it works, it is easy to use.

I have always been a fan of aNother well known make of phone and wavered when upgrading. Finally the price plan is what attracted me to the Samsung Wave. That said, this phone has really blown me away. Its easy to use, very clear and simple. There are plenty of different 'Apps' to choose from, some of which are free. There is only one tiny tiny irritation that I have is that the alert for emails is the same as texts so you are unable to distiguish. Am so pleased with this that I would recommend to anyone wanting a touch screen phone.
