This is my first smartphone, I upgraded from a Nokia slidephone and it took me about a day to get used to the keyboard. I didn't want to upgrade to a completely touchscreen phone and the Blackberry 9790 having both keyboard and touchscreen is the best of both. Great slim design, not at all bulky, simple to figure out and connect to the internet, very happy I upgraded to this.
Pros: bright clear screen, quick and easy to find your way around
Cons: battery lasts about a day with normal use

I am a die hard Blackberry fan but this phone has been a total disappointment. The screen is very small making it useless for reading anything other than a text or short email, it has very poor battery life (less than one day on pretty low usage) and constant problems with it "seizing" making the keyboard unavailable. This phone will be going back to the shop as soon as I can get there.
Pros: it looks beautiful
Cons: it fails to live up to expectation
No, I do not recommend this product.

This phone is fast, responsive and very fluid. If you want an all round great BB then this is the right purchase for you. The slimmer design and fast processor does the job.
Works amazing, one of the best Blackberries to date.
