Having been a Sony phone owner for a good few years now I've always found myself drawn to the design and functionality of the phones.
I recently upgraded to the Xperia XA2 having had an Xperia X for the past few years, there was a comforting familiarity with the shape and build quality, sturdy and stylish...
The familiarity grew even more when using the Xperia transfer software, within 5 minutes my new phone had the same apps and homescreen layout before I even had time to make a cup of tea, with the Xperia phones long gone are the old days of transferring data and such over, few clicks and like some James Bond gadget the hard work is done for you.
While many maybe put off when they hear this is a mid range phone, instead wanting a flagship model, I can assure you you're not getting an inferior product of cheap piece of kit.
As for Sony phones themselves, where my Samsungs would be slowing to a crawl after a few years the Sony phones never show signs of age, and frankly if it wasn't for the fact I fell in love with the XA I could have happily continued to use my X.
Either way you can't go wrong with an Xperia phone.

Having got this phone to upgrade from my Xperia Z5 Compact, my only disappointment is the larger size - a more compact option would have been ideal for me.
However, it's a great phone. The 23mp camera is brilliant, the internal memory massive (I moved loads of photos and apps from my old phone and still have loads of free space), the battery life seems very impressive and its easy to use. I also love the fingerprint scanner which appears to be more sensitive than on my previous phone, unlocking every time without fail.
Overall, a fab phone at a decent price point.

I've had the Samsung S class for the past 6 years, and when it came time to upgrade, was fully expecting to go the same route. It wasn't until a friend recommended the Xperia to me that I even thought about it.
The battery life on it is far better than any other phone I've had, the camera quality is just as good as the big hitters out there, and as for the phone itself, it's sleek, easy to use, and doesn't take much getting used to. I'm glad I switched over.
